TitleLillian Woodcock
DescriptionOral History - Lillian Sedge McNamara/ Lillian Woodcock - Lillian Woodcock (Mrs. Marion) of Ahtanum, who still lives on the farm on 79th Ave. which has been and is being farmed by 5 generations of Woodcocks. She tells the story of the Ahtanum Congregational Church (now called Pioneer Church) and the Woodcock Academ, built in 1892, now the Ahtanum Grange building. Her story is taken from notes written by Etha Woodcock, her husband's stepmother, who was in volved in the church and the academy name after Fenn B. Woodcock, who donated the land for the academy. Now in her 80's Lillian Taylor Woodcock grew up at the Taylor Homestead in East Selah, now the Firing Center. SHe has much of the early history and papers of Fenn Woodcock and his wife.
